I find myself getting more frustrated with the growing divide in the United States of America. We have so many enemies outside of our borders, that it seems counterintuitive to be fighting with each other. Let’s face it, there are numerous threats to our country without creating them ourselves.
I am in search of answers, input and solutions. I have no idea if my thoughts are actually economically viable. However, I know that someone, most likely a collection of people, have thoughts and ideas that may potentially turn into a real solution.
At the end of the day, I think our divide stems from the fact that everyone feels overlooked by our government. Many people feel like they continue to be punished even though they pay their taxes, have always had healthcare and always do the right thing. I hope we can come together to make this a better place for everyone to thrive.

First thought: Could corporate tax breaks be based on the number of employees eligible for Healthcare benefits? What percentage of healthcare covered employees should constitute a corporate tax break? Does anyone know what the math looks like in regards to the dollar amounts/percentages companies typically pay on behalf of their employees? A Human Resources Director or CFO would be an ideal person to give us some guidance here.
There seems to be a greater number of companies trying to maintain part-time employees to avoid providing these benefits. How much of a tax break would need to be considered in order to encourage companies to make this change?
And go…..
